We are off on our annual (as of last year!!!) pilgrimage to El Capitan, Santa Barbara to glamp our faces off with 3 children, 2 giant coolers filled with assorted things to cook over an open flame, flashlights, swimsuits, bikes, boogie boards, bug spray, sunscreen and a partridge in a pear tree! You get the idea. This is one of our children's favorite trips of the year. They love camping out, devouring s'mores and basically being on the lamb for a few days. No gadgets, no TV, just a pool, bikes, a beach and a campfire. We are all in heaven. We don't get a lot of sleep but the memories are amazing. We go with our friends and their kids and it is dreamy.
