Christmas in Paris

When I was a teenager we lived in Belgium (A 6 year family journey).  I was there only for high school and came back summers to work in college.  While living there we would go to Paris around Christmas time and stay here.  Living in L.A. is amazing and I would never take it for granted, however, when it is 60's and sunny it doesn't feel as festive. Once the kids are a bit older we are packing up and heading here!

Christmas is coming!

We are in the process of decorating for Christmas. I have a lot of big ideas this year but probably very few will actually be executed due to the giant construction project going on right now (more on that later). Here are some of our Christmas decorations thus far and some inspiration below. Tree being selected this week. I am beading it out with the west elm felt garland in the winter white and doing a more arts and crafts theme--we are forgoing an enormous tree this year because we have no storage at the moment for the furniture that needs to be moved to put a mammoth tree in place--next year! xo

Faux Fur goodness

LOVE,LOVE,LOVE the faux fur. Last year at this time I was obsessed with the leopard print faux fur--I still love these coats for a wardrobe pop but I love the more subtle faux fur of the season. Because the coats are faux in my opinion these is no need to invest.  Great faux fur is everywhere and something fun to spiff up your holiday wardrobe.
