Preppy with an edge

One of the things that clients often ask me for is to give them a little edge.  Many of my clients are lovely women, many of whom have small children. Mom's really want to avoid looking frumpy and or too cutesy. If I dress too cutesy I look like a Southern debutante (I sort of am this at heart so I try to add edge to my wardrobe). I want my clients to be described as sophisticated and stylish. Preppy with an edge! Here are some items to give every mama a little edge:

Everyday casual and Forever 21 dotted jeans

One of the categories of life that clients often struggle with most is the everyday casual.  Especially as moms, it is hard to get that pulled together look that doesn't look too done. These things that I have selected are things you can roll out in. I am loving these dotted jeans I just found at Forever 21. Styling for Alt Summit

I have a client and friend who asked me to help style her for the Alt Summit, which is a blogger's conference. Gabrielle has a great, soulful, laugh out loud sort of blog about mothering and life called A Girl Named Gay. She was looking for a forget-me-not, sophisticated look that would make an impression.
