I don't know about you but I have been to consignment stores where after picking through my items with rubber gloves they look at me with a cats-bottom sort of face and say, "No thank you." This always hurts my feelings a little bit because someone's gonna love those Tory Burch giant logo ballet flats, right??? Haute Seconds in Santa Monica is the opposite of snobby, too good for YOUR stuff kind of place. Loaded to the gills with Chloe scalloped ballet flats, Lanvin, Chanel, Givenchy, Joie, Vince, Ray Ban's; it is a great place to walk in with $200 and walk out with a bag of treasures. They also aren't super picky about what they take and as long as they think someone might buy it they generously accept your things. Voila! I just purchased a new with tags J Crew cashmere collection sweater for $49 and a Calypso cashmere long flowy wrap for $60 AND a leather bomber for $60. A fair price and a win win. Here are some photos of what I grabbed (It almost felt like stealing!)Locals check it out!
