Maje for spring

Maje is one of my favorite lines. I am obsessed. It is dripping with French style. Here are some great looks. Pre-Fall 2013: And so it begins!

I know this seems crazy, but Fall fashion is already happening. Now is when I start looking for the colors and patterns to hunt for for clients. There are some great looks coming your way. It is good to check this out now (even though there is not yet a trace of spring in the air (except in LA where it is going to be 79 today!) to see what you can keep from spring/summer and from last fall. Some recurring themes--graphic stripes and prints, lace detail, peplum, faux furry-coats, longer length coats and skirts, poppy, python, houndstooth, bright yellow, winter white,  royal blue, and booties. One of the things that clients often ask me for is to give them a little edge.  Many of my clients are lovely women, many of whom have small children. Mom's really want to avoid looking frumpy and or too cutesy. If I dress too cutesy I look like a Southern debutante (I sort of am this at heart so I try to add edge to my wardrobe). I want my clients to be described as sophisticated and stylish. Preppy with an edge! Here are some items to give every mama a little edge:
