Here are some Celine bags to dream about. Start stashing money now in last years over-knee riding boots and perhaps by spring (which is what this collection actually is: Celine Spring 2013) you will be on your way. All images via purseblog.

Friday favorites
These are some of my favorite things this week. Some high, some low. I am loving the red right now. I would pair it with Tom Ford's lipstick in cherry Lush. I am loving these zara velvet pants too. Great fit, flattering and so comfortable--very French.
Tres Chic not Tres Cher...
One of my skills as a stylist is finding the look that a client likes for much less money. I don't think anyone needs to spend a fortune to look fabulous. On more trendy items, especially when even the expensive ones are a faux material, there is no reason to break the bank. Spend that money on a Givency bag and some Louboutin's instead. Check out this look for less:
Clockwise from top left:
1. Malene Berger jacket $795
2. Express jacket $89 (with promotion on-line)
3. Hudson jeans $209
4. Express jeans $100 (with on-line promotion)
Here are some bags and shoes to make your Express finds look expensive. The express photo shoes above(bottom right)do not do those pants justice:
These are the items from the express store. These pants fit beautifully. They run slightly small since they are a legging fit. The Jacket runs big--if you are a small you are an XS at express. A bargain and boosted self-esteem all in one stop!

Winter white
I love winter white jeans. A flattering cut, a big cashmere sweater or jacket and a v-neck boyfriend t-shirt is one of my go to's. I also love the winter white jeans with booties. Here are some looks:

What I am wearing on date night
I have a lovely friend and client who I recently finished styling and she asked me what I wear on date night. Since I LOVE fashion so much, I elaborated in probably way more detail than anyone would actually need. Since I have been married almost 12 years, I want to be comfortable when I go out. No stilettos and mini's for this gal. Not to mention I am 5'9 and do not always want to tower like the Statue of Liberty. Here is what I wore to Nobu in Malibu last night:

As far as jewelry goes, I think on a night out it should be kept fairly simple. Less is more. Here are some ideas:

In love with this at Anthropologie and how to wear it
I was in Anthropologie today and found this shirt. I am obsessed with the cut, the turquoise with yellow rimmed buttons. I would lose the statement necklace because I think the shirt is enough on its own: Already its own statement. Here is how I would wear it:

Graphic prints and sea green jeans
I love the combination of the sea green and the graphic black and white print. This is a striking look that is so visually appealing.
Navy and Leopard obsession continues...
I love the regal combination of navy and animal print. I am loving the gold and navy contrast. I like the leopard with black too, but the kick of navy makes it a little more preppy.
Faux fur leopard coat
This weekend I was out and about and in pursuit of a few items. Primarily a faux fur leopard coat. I needed a few things to jazz up my fall wardrobe. A statement piece is what I was after. I found a Sparkle and Fade Faux leopard pea coat. I can't find this anywhere on line but I purchased it from Urban Outfitters in Santa Monica for a fair price. Here is the inspiration:

I bought this sleeveless shirt from Urban outfitters as well. I am wearing it with this J Crew Tippi sweater:
Here is a Lookbook with these all together--the coat is a shorter version, but you get the idea:
