Friday favorites and the look for less

I LOVE a great tuxedo vest. I wear it casually with a v-neck James Perse t-shirt and boyfriend jeans or more dressy with black leather pants and a silk shirt. It adds instant style and makes a statement. It is also such a forgiving cut. I recently purchased the Zara vest for a client and we are removing the gold buttons and putting black ones on instead to make it more versatile. Here is the look:

I LOVE this Zara vest. The gold buttons have to go but it is the perfect, flattering cut and a very fair price. I love the snakeskin underneath with the bootie. The bangles are fun too. The Alexander Wang bag is an investment piece. The animal print shoes work great with the black and white blouse or the green silk blouse. The bangles go well with the same blouses and the booties.  When you have an animal print shoe or top you want to go easy on the rest of the accessories. You don't want to look too "done."
